Step into a world where precision, patience, and craft converge. Join us for an intimate masterclass blending the ancient Japanese art of Kyudo — traditional archery — with the refined ritual of Japanese whisky tasting.

Please join Melissa Ginzburg of ImpEx Beverages and her special guest, John Born, for an interactive conversation that weaves stories of archery and whisky and explores the shared values of focus, ritual, and attention to detail.

John is a Godan Renshi (5th Dan—trainer), putting him among the top 5% of Kyudo practitioners worldwide, and president of the Minnesota Kyudo Renmei.

Together, they will discuss the philosophy, discipline, and cultural significance behind each Kyudo movement. Between demonstrations, participants will taste through a carefully selected flight of Japanese whiskies, guided through their flavor profiles, history, and craftsmanship.
