We’re thrilled to host our first-ever New Zealand wine event with a very special guest: Simon Buck of Te Mata Estate! A member of the Buck family and Te Mata Estate’s U.S. Ambassador, Simon has spent the last 15 years championing the wines of his home country here in the States. After leaving New Zealand in his twenties to explore the world of wine—from high-end wine shops to vineyards abroad—his love for New Zealand’s wines eventually brought him back to his roots.

And what better place to start our New Zealand journey than Te Mata Estate? One of New Zealand’s most historic and celebrated wineries, Te Mata has been making wine in Hawke’s Bay since 1896, with a deep commitment to expressing the unique character of its vineyards and the region. Family-owned for generations, Te Mata has become a benchmark for New Zealand wines—particularly its renowned reds.
